Our Story
It's fair to say that we're not your average executive, billionaire, philanthropist business owners. Coming from different backgrounds, skill sets and even countries we like to think that we both we bring a lot to the table. We certainly have a lot to talk about - and always find the answers by getting stuck in! So here's our introduction to us and our story. 'The guys from Velovie'.

Elsa Cochard
Follow me on InstagramBorn in Toulousse and now with a decade living the London life, we're now on a massive adventure on the sunny island of Mallorca. Before starting Velovie I specialised in decoration and design whilst finding my feet on the bike... but these days I'm designing jerseys more than canvases and eyeing up some crit races!

Jamie Woodland
Follow me on InstagramI was born in Hampshire & spent the last 15 years living in London, so I'm definitely a Southerner (though I would love to live in Yorkshire). I worked in tech for 20 years & after some post covid redundancy decided to take the plunge & follow my dream of building a career with cycling. I love to dunk a chocolate croissant in a flat white, building bikes, and my friends call me Hobbit.
How it started
Jamie had been working in tech for 20 years, so with a post covid redundancy looming and Elsa already on the look out for change - the timing seemed right to act. Turning a challenging period into a positive, we spent the Xmas break dreaming up ideas, names & celebrity sponsors for what could become our dream cycling business. The big question was where?.. As January rolled in and chapters begun to close we decided to grab life by the cahoonasas and get get involved. A quik investigatory trip to Mallorca later, and the rest as they is history.
Year 1: Jumping In
Year #1 was a roller coaster of epic proportions. We set up 2 companies, moved to a new country, learnt a new language and how to refurbish a restaurant with our own blistered hands. Seasonal tourism, changing cultures, suppliers and hurricanes all kept us on our toes - but cor blimey did we get ALOT done.
